To set up and use the Eguasoft Hockey Scoreboard Software, you need to configure a dual-screen system from your Windows computer to output a dedicated viewer display while controlling the action from a private operator panel.

The software transforms any regular TV, projector, or LED screen into a fully customizable sports scoreboard. Phase 1: Installation & Hardware Setup

Download the Software: Purchase and download the app via the official Microsoft Store Eguasoft Hockey Scoreboard Page. It installs on up to 10 Windows devices under one account.

Connect the Display: Hook up your PC or laptop to an external TV, projector, or LED/OLED screen using an HDMI or VGA cable. Configure Windows Display Settings: Press Windows Key + P on your keyboard.

Select Extend (do not choose Duplicate). This gives you two separate working screens. Phase 2: Software Configuration

When you launch the program, it splits into two distinct windows: the Control Panel (for the operator) and the Main Scoreboard (for spectators).

Position the Windows: Drag the spectator scoreboard window over to the extended external screen and maximize it. Keep the Control Panel on your local laptop screen.

Customize Layouts: Head into the settings menu to adjust fonts, colors, background styles, and team names.

Upload Media: Queue up sponsor commercials, graphic banners, or video advertisements to stream on the spectator screen before the game or during intermission periods. Phase 3: Operating the Scoreboard During a Game

The operator manages the game entirely from the private control panel window using mouse clicks or custom keyboard hotkeys:

Game Clock: Control basic match timing, period changes, and granular time adjustments.

Scoring & Shots: Add or subtract goals, track shots on goal (SOG), and update team statistics live.

Penalty Management: Track individual player penalty minutes. The software automatically handles countdowns for minor and major infractions.

Remote Network Control: If you have multiple operators, connect extra devices (phones, tablets, or separate laptops) to the same local Wi-Fi network. You can then assign specific tasks—like a dedicated penalty tracker or shot counter—via a web browser interface.
